    Hey Kamal,
I was wondering since dermatologists say that Psoriosis is not cureable, what would be your best recomendation to help or control the breakouts?

  3. admin Says:

    Hi Jacey,

Dermatologists are well trained in their field of dermatology.

    Psoriasis defined is

“Named for the Greek word psōra meaning “itch,” psoriasis is a chronic, non-contagious disease characterized by inflamed lesions covered with silvery-white scabs of dead skin.”

Now in traditional Western Dermatology it can be categorized into eight different types. These are:

PLAQUE PSORIASIS, SCALP PSORIASIS, NAIL PSORIASIS, GUTTATE PSORIASIS, PUSTULAR PSORIASIS, INVERSE PSORIASIS, ERYTHRODERMIC PSORIASIS, PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS

Now, lets look at it from a different perspective. From a TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) perspective we look at the nature of any imbalance or dis-ease.

This condition is an imbalance of the Skin. Imbalances of this type can be categorized into two main classes; these are External/Internal.If it is External it is described in more meteorological terms such as Wind , Cold ,Damp(Humidity), Heat, Summer Heat, Dryness

In TCM itching is a manifestation of Wind.
Purulent oozing fluid is a manifestation of Dampness(Humidity).
Redness is a manifestation of Heat.
Acute Redness and raised bumps is a manifestation Summer Heat.
Flaky and Scaly is a manifestation of Dryness.
Cold is rarely seen with this condition.

Internally the diagnosis could be blood deficiency or a Fluid deficiency. Now this could be likened to Anemia but this is not the same condition. PLEASE NOTE TCM ANEMIA MAY NOT SHOW UP ON A TRADITIONAL BLOOD TEST THIS IS A CLINICALLY CORRELATED DIAGNOSIS BASED ON EXAMINATION.

If a client/patient has this condition please refer to a TCM practitioner and the appropriate protocol will be utilized. Acupuncture , Herbal Medicine and Chinese Diet Therapy(Clinical Nutrition), may be used to correct this condition.

Topically Schmoove TM is a balanced formula that will address all external reasons for this Skin imbalance.

In my personal experience I used Schmoove TM and internal medicine(Chinese Herbs) to successfully treat this Skin imbalance. In some cases I just used Schmoove TM and more severe cases added internal medicine.

In a recent email, Marsha asked…

i am contemplating purchasing a micro current machine with red & blue LED lights. is this something that can be used with the 3 chinese herbal blends?

also, are there any contraindications on any of the 3 blends to pregnant &/or lactating women - idid not see any on the product descriptions, but several of my clients want to be for sure before they purchase - so i told them i would ask.

also, is there any contraindications of using any of the blends on female breasts? lactacing or not? personally, i have been using wonderful with eminence nasberry body lotion to firm & lift & the combo is working nicely.

  5. admin Says:

    Hi Marsha,

    1.
Micro current machines in general are wonderful devices for this type of industry. I personally have experienced varying results with these devices in my practice.

Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners use these devices for internal medical conditions ranging from neuro-muscular pain to facial rejuvenation.

In fact there are machines that combine LED(Light Emitting Diode) therapy with micro-current. These machines include other colors besides red and blue lights.

With that said, the Red color spectrum promotes micro circulation and speeds the healing process. This has the similar properties to Revive TM. The differences include herbs in the formula that bring harmony and balance to the skin so that the only end result is positive side-effects. The blue color aids the body by calming any inflammatory response and can aid the body’s regenerative process through sedation. This has similar properties to Schmoove TM.

Lastly, there is a color that has not been discussed which is purple. This is a combination of Red and Blue which interestingly enough has properties of both colors. While it promotes circulation it also has anti-inflammatory properties so it is used for pain in some protocols. In TCM lingo we would consider this a neutral color having both properties of Hot/Cold natures. This would be closely related to Wonderful TM which is neutral.

    2.
There are no contraindications in fact I have used all three products on pregnant and lactating women with only positive side-effects.

    3.
No there is no contraindication on female breasts in fact any area that needs lifting or toning you can use Wonderful TM.

  6. Shawnie Says:

Hi Kamal, when using microcurrent and the herbs, is it ok to work on clients who have had botox or collagen injections or other fillers? If so, how soon after they are injected could you do the treatment either microcurrent w/herbs OR just the SJB facial treatment?

  7. admin Says:

    Shawnie, thanks for asking.

Typically, for those people who have had collagen and botox injections use SchmooveTM 3 days before treatment and continue SchmooveTM after the botox or collagen injection. Then wait 3 days after those injections before doing microcurrent. The body will respond better and have a much more significant response to the microcurrent if you follow this protocol.

On Qing Qi decoction: I had a great experience with a patient who had a facial cellulitis. I used antibiotics and Open Airway tea for three days together. After three days the cellulitis was MUCH better, and I was able to discontinue the antibiotic and finish 10 days of therapy with the tea.

  9. franzcenter Says:

Schmoove: I have had several great experiences with Schmoove and sunburn. It takes the pain away within 30 minutes and speeds healing. It does not prevent peeling, but really helps with the pain and redness of sunburn. It works better and faster than steroids or ibuprofen when used early on!!
